Maine Officer Injured, Suspect Dead in Officer Involved Shooting
According to WMTW, two Falmouth Police officers were involved in a shooting on Tuesday evening.
Multiple officers responded to the intersections of Middle and Lunt Roads at around 5:45 PM Tuesday after calls of a disturbance were reported.
When police arrived on the scene, the two officers both opened fire on an armed suspect. The suspect died at the scene.
Following the shooting one of the officers involved is being treated for what are being called 'non-life-threatening' injuries at a nearby hospital.
As of Wednesday morning, the name of the suspect as well as the names of the responding officers had not yet been made public.
