Maine Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck by Oncoming Vehicle Sunday Evening
It was a tragic ending to a car vs pedestrian crash that happened in Maine on Sunday evening.
According to WGME 13, deputies from the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office were called to the scene of a pedestrian strike Sunday evening in the area of Route 35 and Rose Way in Naples, Maine.
During the investigation, Route 35 was shut down for hours according to the news station.
Sadly, Donald Wallace, 48, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.
WGME reports that this incident is still under investigation.
As of Monday morning, the identity of the driver, nor the type of car being driven, has been released by investigating officials.
