When first responders arrived at the scene of the blaze, flames were already shooting out of the back of the home, according to witness accounts. At that time, one of the three people that had been inside the home was forced to jump out of a second-floor window to get away from the flames and smoke, WABI reported.

Fire officials said that the home, as well as a nearby garage, were both destroyed following the fire, according to the news station.

WABI added that preliminary reports suggested that the fire was not suspicious in nature at this time, though the investigation is ongoing.
