What do they say about all these fake spring days in Maine? You know what I'm talking about, right? Like you get up and it smells like spring, it looks like spring and it even feels like spring.

So you decide to finally put the shovels away, deflate the snow tubes and start taking out the patio furniture. Then, before you can say 'mud season', another snow event shows up in the extended forecast and calls its own bluff.

In Maine spring isn't always a sure thing and just because it shows up on the calendar in March doesn't mean it's actually going to arrive anytime before April. We have fake spring, fool's spring... all kinds of springs except for the actual real-deal spring.

And, in case you haven't heard, it looks like nature called its own bluff again this March. According to an article published by WGME 13, more snow is on the way for much of Maine at the end of the week.

Now, to be fair, it doesn't look like this is going to be some epic dumping of the white stuff that's going to require a multi-day cleanup, however, it does look like a good portion of the Pine Tree State could be mildly inconvenienced by slippery conditions.

The news station is reporting that despite a fairly mild week, things are going to turn moist like a towelette on Thursday night. Also, they didn't say moist like a towelette, those were my words. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Anyways, rain moves in across the state on Thursday night and by Friday afternoon many inland locations will see it coming down as snow. As far as accumulations go, everyone has the chance of getting a little bit to a few inches, however further inland and mountain regions have the highest probability of more snow.

By Saturday, we're back to fake spring with mostly sunny skies and temps across Maine into the lower 50s. Then it turns colder again midweek next week. I guess what I'm saying is 'hey Siri, Google houses for sale in Orlando'.
