Make Your Plan For Voting Nov 3rd

I have done it. Have you? Voting is what I am talking about.

I requested my ballot, received it, and dropped it off at the secure box at Augusta City Hall.

I know towns and cities around the state are making accommodations to make sure everyone who wants to vote has the opportunity in a way that is safe.

You still have some time to request your ballot as long as your voter registration is current and correct. Here is the link to request your ballot or you can stop into your city or town hall.

Absentee ballots in Maine have been arriving in the mail, many commutes have places where you can vote absentee in person, have special drop off boxes or extended hours according to WABI.

When you vote take a few extra moments to make sure you do it all the right way.  Please, mark your ballot ovals carefully and make your choices clear otherwise the ballots will need a review to be counted according to WABI.  One of the big reasons ballots are rejected are because the area on the outside of the envelope where you are to sign…was unsigned.

The bottom line is if you have returned your ballot or cast your vote…it is done.  IF you have your ballot but have not returned it you have the option to vote in person.
