It was a scary scene over the weekend following an alleged shooting that took place at the iconic Mall of New Hampshire in Manchester.

According to an article published by WMUR, police are currently investigating what led to at least one shot being fired in the mall's parking lot over the weekend.

The news station is reporting that Manchester Police responded to the mall's parking lot on Sunday afternoon after reports of a single gunshot being fired from inside a vehicle.

WMUR continued to explain that the alleged shooting appeared to have happened from inside a vehicle in the Mall of New Hampshire parking lot near Buffalo Wild Wings.

During their initial investigation, responding officials taped off part of the parking lot to keep the public out while they conducted their initial investigation. WMUR says that the crime tape was gone the same day before 6pm, though a crime scene marker was still at the location.

Multiple people that were at the Mall of New Hampshire in Manchester on Sunday told reporters with WMUR that despite shots being fired, they were not forced to evacuate from the premises.

This could partially be due to the fact that by the time responding officers arrived on scene, all parties believed to be involved in the altercation had already fled the area.

Police believe this was an isolated incident and no injuries are being reported at this time.

This is a developing story that we will continue to keep updated as more information becomes available to us in the coming days.
