Man’s Body Found Inside Fairfield, Maine Home on Wednesday, Police Investigating

An investigation is underway following the discovery of a body inside a residence in Fairfield, Maine on Wednesday.

According to an article published by the Kennebec Journal, Fairfield Police were called to a residence on Main Street after 3pm yesterday where they discovered the body of a deceased male.

Following the discovery, Fairfield PD called in the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit to take over the death investigation. At this time, there are no details available in regards to who the person is or what the manner of death may have been.

The man's body was transported to the Office of The Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta for further investigation and to determine a cause of death.
