It's no secret that there is a drug crisis that is plaguing not just Maine but the entire United Sates of America. As law enforcement works tirelessly to keep this trash off of our streets it only seems to be multiplying each and every year. It's even scarier when the youth in our communities are some of the people responsible for selling the deadly garbage.

According to WGME 13, multiple teens have been charged after police say they discovered illegal guns and cash during a weekend traffic stop. The news station is reporting that police pulled a vehicle over in Lewiston over the weekend.

Lewiston PD says they stopped the vehicle at around 11:30 Saturday night. Upon further investigation of the vehicle that the teens were in, police uncovered nearly 16 grams of fentanyl, more than 23 grams of crack cocaine, cash and guns. Police say the drugs appeared packaged for individual sale.
