‘National Friends of Libraries’ Week Now Through the 24th [Poll]
Good news for libraries! 7 in 10 cardholders are happy with their local library, according to a Harris Poll.
Even though there's a lot of contentment among local library users, 81% of those polled say that, in order to stay relevant, libraries need to offer digital content.
More than 6 in 10 Americans have a library card (63%) and women are more likely than men to have one (67%/58%) which may be one of the reasons women seem to be smarter, in my opinion :-)
