I had loon cam 2 on for two hours at home just for the music that nature makes. I had left the link open on my computer to remind myself to share it with you. But I was also treated to the peaceful sound of nature in the middle of the night. It was delightful. This live feed is from New Hampshire's Loon Preservation Committee and according to there Youtube description of this video their mission is to "restore and maintain a healthy population of loons throughout New Hampshire; to monitor the health and productivity of loon populations as sentinels of environmental quality, and to promote a greater understanding of loons and the larger natural world."  They go on to say the two eggs in this nest were laid in mid-June and are expected to hatch around July 10th or after. This is not the first time the Loon Preservation Committee in New Hampshire has done this. In fact, they have been sharing this with the world since 2014. Check out their website here. Even their website address is perfect...loon.org.
