Community Spotlight: 45th Annual Oosoola Days
Get ready for Oosoola Days this Labor Day weekend (Sept. 3-4) in Norridgewock. Richard Labelle, Norridgewock Town Manager, and Jessie Everette & Molly Chapman from Skowhegan Savings Bank joined us on the Moose Morning Show to talk about all of the fun coming up for the 45th annual event.
Sunday at the Central Maine Regional Airport there is a 5K Road Race, pancake breakfast, food vendors, touch-a-truck (planes, helicopter, fire trucks, dump trucks, police cruisers, etc.), bounce house, antique cars, craft tables, pop-up farmer’s market, and the 'Morgan Aviation Candy Drop' begins at 3pm.
Monday, the fun is at Oosoola Park! The Parade begins at 9am. There will be a BBQ, vendors, storefront decorating, float plane rides, volleyball tourney, bungee trampoline, dunk tank, egg toss, horseshoe tourney, bounce house, annual Frog Race begins at 1:00pm.
