Pair of Maine Men Charged With Setting Fire to Home, Officials Say They Knew The Victims
A pair of Maine men accused of setting fire to a home in Bangor have been indicted by a Grand Jury, according to WABI.
The news station reports that the men are accused of setting fire to a home on Elm Street in Bangor over the summer. The men, Eric Hasenbank, 41, and Joshua Fletcher, 19, have since been indicted by a Grand Jury on arson charges. WABI says that Hasenbank if also facing a charge for conspiracy.
After some research, we found that Hasenbank is also a lifetime registrant on the Maine Sex Offender Registry for sexual misconduct with a child under 14 years old..
Police say that the accused knew the people who were living in the house when they set fire to it in August of 2023.
