Palace Playland @ Old Orchard Beach, Good Times!

What was better than going to the beach on a day like today? Not too much except maybe getting paid to be there. I had a blast at Old Orchard Beach today. Palace Playland was hopping, the beach was full of people and the pier fries awesome. Many, many, many people dropped by for stickers and to sign up for tickets to see Ke$ha in Bangor on August 30^th!

The rides at Palace Playland are going everyday through the Labor Day weekend and the arcade is open now through Labor Day everyday as well and weekends from Labor Day until early October. Palace Playland is New England’s only beachfront amusement park with rides until way after dark. At Palace Playland there are over 30 rides and attractions for kids of all ages and all levels of thrills. To add, tonight 9:45 pm is the last night for fireworks at Old Orchard Beach in 2013. Yes, sadly the summer is coming to a close.

Congratulations to our Ke$ha ticket winner, Clare Pessia of Littleton, MA. She and a friend are off to the Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion Augusta 30^th to see Ke$ha along with special guest, Mike Posner!

I met a lot of people from out of town who stopped by to say hi. Some were from the south, some from Canada. There were quite a variety of folks. I had to wear the shades because I didn’t want to be caught looking at girls in bikinis!
