What FUN! Allure Magazine decided to work on a feature that reviewed Chanel's Coco Madamoiselle L'Eau Privee perfume. Ohlala, I say.

The twist on the fashion magazine doing this perfume review is…they asked different Parises (I guess that is the plural for Paris)  to take part. As in Paris, Tennessee, Idaho, Ontario, and PARIS, MAINE!

According to the story in the Sun Journal, early this year, Allure Magazine contacted the Paris, Maine town office to see if they would be interested in taking part in the review. They said "yes."

The description of Chanel's Coco Madamoiselle L'Eau Privee from the company is the perfume "floral-woody fragrance celebrates the sensuality of night with enveloping notes of white musk illuminated by a soft jasmine absolute and rose petal accord."

Honestly, I have such an unsophisticated nose for such things. I do know it is pink and pretty. It has that classic square-shaped bottle that is…Chanel.

The women on staff teamed up for this unique project and came up with their review. The story in the Sun Journal quoted part of that as "we can detect some undertones of a musk, with some floral. It has a romantic hint to it that makes us women feel special."

I am willing to bet the other Parises that were asked to participate had as much fun with this ever-so-delightful distraction from day to day running a town life. It has been a long year with many challenges for those in public service; they had a chance to stop and smell the roses…and jasmine and musky tones.
