Paws for a Cause Fundraiser Supports Maine Dog Rescue

Paws for a Cause: Helping Maine Dog Rescue Save More Dogs

Maine Dog Rescue and Mr. Dog Training are teaming up for Paws for a Cause, a dog-friendly event happening outside in the Village Inn parking lot. Tickets are $10 to get in, with proceeds helping Maine Dog Rescue continue its mission of saving dogs and finding them loving homes.

Meet Adoptable Dogs

There will be several adoptable dogs at the event for people to meet, spend some time with, and even put in an application if one happens to steal your heart. Photos of some of the dogs attending will be shared ahead of the event, but there will be even more dogs available to meet in person.

Mr. Dog Training will also be there for a Q&A, giving dog owners a chance to ask questions and get some helpful training advice.

The event will feature light appetizers, drinks from the Galouch Side Squeeze Truck, a kids’ section, a pet photographer, and 10% off the entire store at Maine Rope Mats. All dogs are welcome, so feel free to bring your own four-legged friend along too.

There will also be plenty of raffles, including Sea Dogs tickets, beer and wine baskets, and more. Raffle tickets will be available at the door.

Helping Save More Dogs

Money raised from Paws for a Cause will help Maine Dog Rescue purchase home kennels. More kennel space means the rescue can take in more dogs in need, get them to safety, and ultimately help them find their forever homes.
