Okay, we all know there are so many restaurants and bars in Maine offering delicious, over-the-top holiday cocktails, because why not?

We live in a snowy wonderland where it feels like a Christmas movie everywhere you look. But out of every bar I’ve seen so far this holiday season, there is one that truly takes the holiday-crafted cocktail to the next level.

Low Key in Portland, Maine will have you drooling from just looking at their drinks. It’s one thing to get creative with flavors, but it’s another to take what this place specializes in, soft-serve ice cream, and use it to build some of the most beautiful, delicious holiday cocktails you’ve ever seen.

I mean, who doesn’t love soft serve? And honestly… who doesn’t love whipped cream?

The Snowman is pure holiday cheer in a glass, Ketel One vodka, Luxardo maraschino liqueur, milk, whipped cream, and of course, sprinkles.

The Ice Cream Back Shot is equally irresistible, made with Caffè Borghetti, cold brew, rum, and topped with a shortbread cookie. Yum.

And even though we’re deep in holiday cocktail season, I also need to highlight a drink that stays on their menu year-round, maybe because it looks too good to ever take off: the Boozy Affogato. It’s a dreamy mix of Caffè Borghetti, Plateray rum, cold brew, pumpkin soft serve, caramel, and a cookie. Honestly, say less.
