Hear Prince’s New Protest Song, ‘Baltimore’

Prince performed at a rally Sunday (May 10) in Baltimore, just weeks after protests over the death of Freddie Gray. the pop superstar was dressed in gray in tribute to a man whose death in police custody prompted riots and drew international attention.

During the 'Rally 4 Peace' concert at the Royal Farms Arena, Prince debuted a song he wrote for the city. He told the crowd, "For those who have lost loved ones, we're here for you tonight."
