Skowhegan Apartment Raid Leads to Several Arrests, Fentanyl & Firearms
According to the Kennebec Journal, multiple people were taken into custody following a Wednesday search of a Skowhegan apartment.
Officials from the Skowhegan Police Department, Somerset County Sheriff's Office and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency searched the apartment on Greenwood Avenue on Wednesday as part of an ongoing investigation.
During the search, officers found more than 30 grams of fentanyl, 9 grams of what they suspect is cocaine, hallucinogenic mushrooms and multiple firearms.
Among those taken into custody was 24-year-old Roger Lloyd Jr, 19-year-old Dakota Merrill, both residents of the apartment, and Richard Soroka, 42, who was arrested in connection a day later in Athens, Maine. It's believed that Soroka is connected to the firearms.
A litany of charges is pending against all three suspects.
