Spring is right on our doorstep, and that means more than just mud season. It means that warm weather is on its way, as well as our lifelong friend, the Easter Bunny.
Speaking of Easter and that friendly little Bunny. According to a Facebook event made by Smiling Hill Farm in Westbrook, they are hosting an Easter Egg Gathering. Each child that attends will receive an egg carton to collect their 12 eggs, which will even be a fun twist to collecting eggs.
Due to social distancing and CDC guidelines, it is required that anyone over the age of 2 years is required to wear a mask, and there will be a restriction of only 2 adults per child. As a way to keep everyone safe, there will be several stations spread out across the barnyard, and each will have staff members handing out the fun-colored eggs.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 20th, at the Smiling Hill Farm; there is a small fee of $8.50 per child. Those wishing to attend this fun event must purchase tickets in advance and can do that HERE. They ask that while you're purchasing your tickets, you make sure to use the add-on feature to select your child's age group.
