Why Is Sugarloaf Giving A Season Pass To A Jeopardy Contestant?

If you know me, you know I am a massive fan of Jeopardy. And, even though I am not a huge fan of the people who have been filling in as host since Alex Trebek passed away, I never miss an episode.

I get especially excited when there are questions about the State of Maine. We got one Thursday night.

The question was: This "sweet" mountain in Maine's Carrabassett Valley is one of New England's premier ski resorts? The answer? Sugarloaf, of course!

Well, according to News Center Maine, it appears that Sugarloaf is now going to offer Matt Walks, the player who correctly answered the question, a season pass.

In a post on their Facebook page, they posted:

"Zero hesitation on that buzzer, Matt. We have a season pass with your name on it.

What is "DM for details"?"

So far, there is no word on whether he'll be taking the pass, or even if he's seen the offer, yet.

The Friday, March 19th, episode was Katie Couric's last night as host (for now). Next, we'll have two weeks of Dr. Oz. That will be followed by a few weeks of Aaron Rodgers and Anderson Cooper. Each of the guest hosts is attached to a charity that will get donations equal to what the contestants win.
