I consider myself to be a jack of all trades but a master of none- in most cases. However, I will go out on a limb and boldly say that I do consider myself an absolute elite expert in the areas of both tacos and tequila(s).

And how convenient that this weekend marks the 6th annual Taco & Tequila Bar Crawl in the Old Port! I know what you're thinking, 'Matt, how do we attend this epic event this weekend?'

Well, to put it frankly, buy tickets. And, if you're a pro-level bar crawler, book yourself a hotel room while you're at it. We're going down with 14 people and have our rooms all lined up for the night. We'll check into our hotel and then Uber down to the cobblestone streets of the Old Port. Basically, pro level.

The crawl is hosted by a national outfit called Bar Crawl USA, and tickets are on sale now! Most bars on the stop will be handing out 'free' tacos while supplies last, and almost all the stops have margarita specials just for crawl participants.

Some of the spots on the list include Tomasos Pizza, Andy’s Pub, Gritty’s Pub, Bonfire Bar, Porthole, Rosie’s Restaurant & Pub, Dock Fore, Porttown Public House, Flores Restaurant & Bar, Boone’s Fish House & Oyster Room and many more.

General tickets start at just $25 bucks and VIP tickets, which include a T-shirt while supplies last, start at about $40 bucks. The event is happening this Saturday, April 26th in the Old Port.

Don't miss your chance to get out and have some fun with friends. And remember, it's school vacation week- you've earned this!
