In case you haven't noticed, us humans are really annoying, especially when it comes to pets. We dress 'em up in embarrassing costumes and bathe them til they hate us and honestly? We can't blame them at all for retaliation.

Chances are you love Tina Fey and cats. Well, this Tumblr is both at once. It stands to reason therefore, that you will double-love Tina Fey With a Cat, because that's how emotions work. We all have those days when we're just over it. Maybe you're done with the traffic, bad weather or the fact that nothing can go right today. It happens to the best of us, and animals definitely aren't excluded.

We all know cats are quirky little creatures. For starters, they have a knack for imitating 'Shark Week' and 'The Great Gatsby Catsby'. We're not saying that stuff is weird or anything, it's just that cats always bring an element of hilarity to these sorts of situations. This also includes bath time.

We love this? It's hard to say, because we don't know yet whether or not this black cat version of Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" is going to give us nightmares or not. Right now we *think* we love it, but we'll know for sure after we sleep on it...

This pretty much sums up the love/hate relationship all cat owners have with their pets. Specifically, we love them, and they hate us. This is the typical cat's reaction to its owner going on leave for six months. We think it's probably pretty accurate...

There are now more cats in the Augusta area looking for new homes. The Kennebec Valley Humane Society took in 25 new cats this week!   So KVHS is reminding people about the adoption special for adult cats right and asking for donations to help the cats and kittens in the shelter...

If we all didn't love anthropomorphic animals so much, there's no way Disney would be as successful as it is. It turns out there's something better than cartoon animals acting like people though -- real animals acting like people.

The Kennebec Valley Humane Society has a deal for you, if you have a loving home and have been thinking about adding a cat to your life.  For July, August, and September ALL of the adult kitties,  7 months and older, can be adopted with no fee.

You need to watch this. If you're having a good day, it will fit right in. If you're having a bad day, it will certainly cheer you up.

As you may know, our family has two cats, “Thunder and “Sweetie.” "Thunder" is a delicate man who is very particular and doesn’t mind being picked up for the most part. "Sweetie" on the other hand, hates being picked up and at times acts like a bull in a china shop. I'm not sure why there are differences, but I’ll chalk it up to personalities.

Thanks for joining us today (6/15) at the 1st annual 92 Moose Pet Expo at Fort Halifax Park in Winslow. It was such a beautiful day; sunny, warm...and not too hot. Perfect with a great breeze right off of the river.
