Geraldine Largay

Documents show an Appalachian Trail hiker, Geraldine Largay, whose remains were found last year in Maine survived at least 26 days after getting lost. During that time, her texts went undelivered because of poor cell reception.

The body of missing hiker Geraldine Largay has likely been found, according to the Maine Warden Service. Skeletal remains were discovered in Redington Township Wednesday.

Maine Wardens are still searching for Geraldine Largay, the Tennessee woman who disappeared from the Appalachian Trail in Maine. She was last seen on July 21 on Route 4 near Rangeley in Sandy River Plantation.
