HEY, THANK YOU !  A few weeks ago at Kaplan University at the beautiful new location in the Marketplace @ Augusta 92 Moose did a broadcast to welcome Kaplan to the Augusta area AND to help out some kids in central Maine at back to school time with "Cram the Van".  Thank you to everyone who donated and thank you Kaplan for the generous donation of school supplies.

A THREE year old little boy and his family are being asked to change his sign language name because the Grand Island, Nebraska  school deparment feels the gesture,  that uniquely means "Hunter Spanjer," violates a rule that forbids anything in the school that looks like a weapon. Yes, they want the family to change the name of their child.

It turns out it was all just a mix-up. Reports earlier this week said a man posing as a United Way worker stole school supplies that were to be donated to needy families. The United Way had collected 550 backpacks and were just waiting to fill them with supplies, such as pencils, crayons and notebooks.
