It's back for another year of tail-wagging fun! See what I did there? It's once again time for the Kennebec Valley Humane Society's second annual Tails & Tunes fundraiser.

What makes this year's even more special is that it will be the first time that this event is being held at their brand new building, home of the Nancy Shuman Animal Shelter, on Leighton Road in Augusta.

Happening on Sunday, June 22nd, the KVHS will be hosting this dog and family-friendly concert complete with food trucks, live music and more. The show will kickoff with local singer/songwriter Bella Ann.

Following a wonderful performance from Bella Ann, Maine's own American Idol star Julia Gagnon will take to the stage to headline the afternoon of music and fun.

In addition to all the great music to enjoy, there's going to be food trucks and beverages available as well. And yes, I already asked, there will be 'adult' beverages available for purchase at this year's event, too!

When gates open at 4pm, you'll be able to come right in and have some wonderful food from The Woodshed in Manchester who will be on hand with some of their delicious food and beverage options and Shakedown Treats & Sweets will be there offering something delicious for both hoomans and pups alike!

Tickets are on sale now and are $50 per person with all proceeds going to benefit the animals and programs of the Kennebec Valley Humane Society.
