According to a report in the New York Post, the home where Alex Trebek lived for nearly three decades has been put on the market.

The Jeopardy! Host and his new bride Jean purchased the home in 1991 for $2,150,000.  Over the next thirty years, he and Jean would raise a family and make many happy memories in the mansion.

Located at 3405 Fryman Road in Studio City, California, the Mediterranean style home encompasses nearly 10,000 square feet and sits on a beautifully landscaped 1.46 acre lot.

According to Realtor, the home was built in 1923 and features 5 bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms.  It has a very stylish living room that overlooks the man’s entry foyer.  The home has a well equipped kitchen, a "breakfast room" for non-formal dining, and a formal dining room.  There is also a media room and adjoining family room.

And, since it is California, the home is made for spending time outside.  There is a covered balcony, a patio with pergola, a pool, a spa, manicured lawns, and more.

On November 8th, 2020, the world lost a great man.  On that day, longtime Jeopardy! Host Alex Trebek passed away after a valiant battle against pancreatic cancer.  Like most fans of the trivia show, I was great affected by his passing.  I had always been impressed by the grace at which the man handled everything thrown at him.

After watching documentaries about him and reading his autobiography, it seemed like he was truly grateful for everything he had been given.  Through hard work, de had risen from his humbled beginnings as a radio announcer in Canada to becoming one of the most recognizable (and parodied) people in North America.

In fact, this extended beyond his passing.  After he died, his clothes were give to programs that provided clothing for people who used it for job interviews.

RIP Alex Trebek
