Taylor Swift’s ‘Gorgeous’ Sends the Internet Into a Total Tizzy
Taylor Swift's brand new "Gorgeous," the third track from forthcoming Reputation, is, predictably, sending social media into a frenzy.
Swift released the tune at midnight Friday (Oct. 20) and Swifties took to Twitter to congratulate Swift on the track — or, in other cases, condemn it.
Swift, of course, has been known to pen songs about her relationships, so people have been diving in deep for meaning.
As the chorus says:
"You’re so gorgeous/ I can’t say anything to your face/ ‘Cause look at your face/ And I’m so furious/ At you for making me feel this way/ But what can I say?/ You’re gorgeous."
It also features the cryptic line, "And I got a boyfriend, he’s older than us / He’s in the club doing I don’t know what.”
So, who could this person possibly be? Calvin Harris? Tom Hiddleston? New beau Joe Alwyn? We don't know for sure, but that didn't stop the Internet from spilling their thoughts on the song.
