The Great Falls Balloon Festival is August 15-17 in Lewiston/Auburn

One of my favorite summer festivals is the Great Falls Balloon Festival. There are two major spots in Lewiston/Auburn for activities, in Lewiston at Simard-Payne Park (formally Railroad Park) and in Auburn at Festival Plaza.

The festival runs from Friday August 15th through August 17th. Music, food, and of course the balloon launches weather permitting. Balloon launches are scheduled for 6 am and 6 pm through the weekend. There is a midway as well and a pancake breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday morning at Simard-Payne Park.
