The Owner Of Gerard’s Pizza In Gardiner Has Passed Away

We learned some sad news this morning:  Jeff McCormick, the owner of Gerard's Pizza on Water Street in Gardiner has passed away.

According to the KJ, he passed away on Saturday, just about a year after being diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer.

For many, the news came as a surprise.  Those close to him say he was a private person, had always had a positive outlook when it came to his battle.

According to Clare Marron, owner of the Monkitree Gallery,“He was a very private person, but he was always cheerful and friendly. You would never know he was having a bad day.
