Gov. Paul LePage continued his struggle with public appearances at a public forum in Freeport on Feb. 16.

At the community forum, LePage angered members of the audience when he began to discuss "asylum seekers" coming to Maine to expose the public to diseases like hepatitis C, tuberculosis, HIV and what he deemed the "ziki fly," in what must have been an effort to describe the zika virus, which is spread by mosquitoes, and is in the news right now.

In a video by the Portland Press Herald, members of the crowd can be heard openly jeering LePage, and several people are seen to apparently walk out during the governor's remarks.
