Tom Brady Reacts To Boston Radio Host Insulting His Daughter, Cuts Interview Short
Don't ever insult Tom Brady's kids. That's what a Boston radio station found out today (Jan. 29) as Brady reacted to news that a host, who has been suspended for his remarks, made disparaging comments about his 5-year-old daughter on air.
Brady is a weekly guest on WEEI's "Kirk & Callahan" morning show, and he had some pointed remarks about what he felt about what was said by WEEI host Alex Reimer last week. According to the Boston Globe, Reimer was discussing Brady's documentary "Tom vs. Time," when he called Brady's young daughter an "annoying little pissant." Reimer, who the Globe says has been suspended indefinitely by WEEI, is not a host on the WEEI morning show and made the comments on another show on the station.
Needless to say, Brady was upset during his very short interview, saying "I've tried to come on this show for many years and showed you guys a lot of respect. I've always tried and come on and do a good job for you guys. It's very disappointing when you hear [the comments about my daughter], certainly. My daughter, or any child, certainly don't deserve that."
Brady added that he was unsure if he would continue his regular appearances on WEEI.
Here is the audio from Brady's interview on WEEI today.
