So you probably gathered by the title of this article that there is a business in Maine that is expanding to the Elm City. But, which business is it?

Let me give you some history on this place and see if you can guess before I just give it away, shall we?

According to the Kennebec Journal, this business was formed about five years ago on Long Island in New York City. Since then, the company has expanded up into New England and currently has 5 locations here in Maine, including Augusta.

You can visit this business on an as-needed basis and pay as you go, or you can get a monthly subscription and go as often as you like, even multiple times a day, which may sound crazy, but I know people that actually do this.

Okay, okay, enough with the hints, I'm finna just tell you what it is now. We just learned that Washville is going to be expanding into Waterville, Maine! Washville is a state-of-the-art car wash with location all over the Northeast.

Not only do they offer pay-as-you-go visits, but they also have monthly subscriptions that start at just $19.99. They company offers several different wash levels including the downtown, midtown, uptown and skyline washes.

How do I know so much about this place? Well, we have worked with them on multiple grand opening events plus we have a company wash subscription and take our vehicles through the Augusta location on the regular.

However, we are seeing a bit of a trend here and we are led to believe that the staff at Washville really like their Taco Bell. The Augusta location is virtually next door to Taco Bell and the Waterville one will also be next door to Taco Bell on KMD. Coincidence or strategic planning? You be the judge.

The KJ article goes on to report that construction of the new Washville car wash will begin in early 2025 and take 7-9 month to build and become operational.
