Waterville, Maine Police Officer Taken to Hospital Following Crash on KMD

A Waterville police officer, including two other people, were taken to the hospital as the result of a crash that happened Saturday on Kennedy Memorial Drive.

According to WGME 13, the crash happened on Saturday in the area of Aroma Joe's coffee shop on KMD. Reports indicate that Waterville officer, Mikayla Hodge, as well as two other people who remain unidentified, were taken to the hospital following the crash.

According to the Chief of Police, the Winslow, Maine Police Department has been called in to investigate the crash. As is common practice, departments do not investigate crashes that involve their own vehicles.

At this time, the cause of the crash, or the condition of those involved, is unknown.
