Western Ave Augusta Convenience Store Robbed

According to a press release from the Augusta Police Department, the Augusta Quick Mart (Sunoco) on Western Avenue was robbed last night (July 17th).

The call came in to the Augusta PD just after 5:30 PM

According to the press release, the caller said "an unidentified suspect entered the store, threatened the use of a weapon and demanded an undisclosed amount of money.  The suspect is described as white male, approximately 5’8”-6’00” in height, dark hoodie sweatshirt, jeans, dark shoes and white facial covering."

The suspect fled the scene before police could arrive.
