If you’re looking for something a little different to do with the family (or just a solid excuse to tailgate with your friends under the stars), you need to check this out.

The Drive-In Laser Light Show is rolling back into the Clinton Fairgrounds from Thursday, July 31 through Saturday, August 2, and it’s gonna be awesome. We're talking massive 40-foot video screens, crystal-clear FM sound, and laser lights timed perfectly to music.

Think drive-in movie meets concert meets trippy light show. And yes, you get to enjoy it all from the comfort of your car, or your lawn chairs if you're more the open-trunk-and-hang kind of person.

Each night features three separate shows, so you can basically pick your vibe:

• 7:00PM – A family-friendly set with today’s hits, pop, and country jams

• 9:00PM – Classic Rock laser show with all the legends you grew up on

• 10:30PM (Fri & Sat only) – Monsters of Rock: crank up the Metallica, Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd — it’s basically the perfect late-night laser-fueled throwback

Tickets are just $29 per carload in advance (yes, that means everyone in your vehicle gets in for one price), but if you wait until the day of, expect to pay more like $39 at the gate. Proceeds benefit Winslow Community Cupboard, so it’s all for a good cause too.

Bring your snacks, bring your lawn chairs, maybe grab a few glow sticks for the kids. Food trucks and vendors will be on site, and yep, there are porta-potties that don’t totally suck.
