Winslow, Maine VFW Hosting Comedy Fundraiser for Veterans in Need
If you’re looking for a night out that’s equal parts fun and meaningful, the VFW in Winslow has you covered. They’re rolling out two full hours of stand-up comedy, with every laugh helping veterans and military families right here in our community.
The lineup is loaded with talent: Matt Dundas, CMSgt (Ret) Steve Hughes, Sarah Mather, and Carlo Rojas will each bring their own unique style of humor to the stage. Between sets, you can step outside for eats from Sips Beverage and Tara-bly Good Catering, or head to the bar inside where the VFW crew will be keeping drinks flowing all night.
And because it’s not just about the laughs, there will be plenty of chances to win — a 50/50 raffle and door prize drawings will run throughout the evening, adding a little extra excitement to an already great night.
Tickets are just $20 in advance (while supplies last) online here, or $25 at the door if any remain. Once they’re gone, they’re gone — so don’t wait.
Every dollar raised goes directly to the VFW Unmet Needs Program, which provides emergency financial assistance to veterans and military families facing unexpected hardships.
Special thanks to Centerline Utility Services, Central Maine Motors, and First Command Financial Services for making this event possible.
So, grab your tickets, call your friends, and get ready for an unforgettable night where laughter truly makes a difference.
