Yesterday’s High Winds Literally Blew a Maine House to The Ground
Yes, it was literally that windy out yesterday.
Not only did yesterday's high winds knock out power to thousands of Mainers across the region, but according to WMTW News 8, a house that was under construction in South Portland actually blew down.
Officials responded to the area of D street in South Portland yesterday afternoon at about 3 o'clock. There isn't much information available but reports indicate the jobsite was vacant at the time, though the house did collapse onto nearby cars.
