Jen is an amazing person and very good at her job. Her heart is so full of love. We have not been able to keep a lot of people from the mainland, but she has made it her home and she fits in perfectly. Everyone on Vinalhaven loves her. She wears her heart on her sleeve. When someone is sick she goes to their house to see them and their family, not because she has to, but because she cares. She is the type you could call in the middle of the night or stop in the street. She always has time for others.
Jen is one of the only people in the medical field that has given me comfort through my battle with cancer. She has not judged me for the route I have decided to take. She is willing to help me any way she can.
Vinalhaven is very blessed to have her in the community. You can ask anyone out there and they will all tell you that she is a 100% hero.
