Augusta has a new supercharging station in the Marketplace at Augusta. It's for Tesla, model S, electric vehicles. There are only 32 Tesla owners in Maine but, apparently, the station is there as much for tourists as for Maine residents. A 30 minute charge will yield about 170 miles.
I don't like this at all. My Walkman, which I've had for years, is getting ready to crap the proverbial bed. I can tell because my headphones, intermittently, fail on one side. I know it's the radio because when I smack it, both sides work for a while.
This is very cool and a great invention for fishermen. But, it's more than just a little creepy. It's Zombait, and it brings those dead bait fish (surveys show that game fish prefer live bait) back to life. Well, kind of.
We talked about this video on the Moose Morning Show again this morning. Retired Trooper Mark Nickerson and John Ford, a retired warden, gave props to this trooper for his work.
The video shows a Maine State Trooper trying to place a suspect under arrest after responding to a domestic violence call . In the video, the suspect resists arrest, causing the trooper to knee him several times and slap him.
