Come By Auburn Middle School For A Model Train Show Today From 10 AM to 3 PM

The Great Falls Model Railroad Club's Train Show is happening at Auburn Middle School (AMS) today from 10 am to 3 pm. The cafeteria and gym are loaded with trains, trains and more trains both set up to look at and to play with. You can even utter, "choo choo" as you watch them go around the tracks. Concessions sold at the show go directly to the Edward Little High School (ELHS) Music Association. A few years ago I took my son Justin to this event while my wife Lynn was helping her mother out at a craft fair. He loved it. There are trains to buy as well, accessories through out plus delicious food at the concession stand.

The concession stand is there as a fundraiser for the ELHS music association. Lynn and our oldest Dylan are over at AMS now getting things set up at the food booth as I write this. Money raised from the chili, hot dogs, baked goods and everything else at the food booth helps fund the ELHS marching band get to New York City for a music festival in the spring.

Auburn Middle School is located at 38 Falcon Drive, Auburn, Maine. Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for kids under 15 years old.
