Grease Live: Listener Recap, Review And Videos!

Hey, everyone! Matt James here. If you follow me on facebook or twitter then you know how much I loved Fox's Grease Live last night. Wow, talk about blown away.

For those who may not know, Rizzo was played by Vanessa Hudgens and less than 24 hours from show time, her father passed away from stage 4 cancer. With everything considered, she gets my vote for best overall cast member and performance of the night. She was amazing given the atrocious circumstances!

As for the rest of the cast, well they freakin' killed it. Julianne Hough certainly didn't disappoint as 'Sandy' and I thought she nailed the role. She was the most accurate character to the original movie- even though Grease Live was based off the play.

What scene was the best of the night? The National Bandstand dance-off gym scene. I couldn't figure out for the life of me how the cast didn't black out on the floor from complete exhaustion. It was one of the longest continuous scene of the whole event, and it was nonstop moving and dancing. Whoa.
