It’s the ‘Ides of March!’ What Does Mac Dickson Think of? A Song from the 70′s, of Course! [MUSIC VIDEO]
Today, March 15, is of course, the ‘Ides of March.’ The date in history notorious as the day of the assassination of Julius Caesar in 44 BC. When I hear ‘Ides of March,’ I think of a fabulous song from 1970 called ‘Vehicle’ by the band ‘Ides of March.’
It was their only hit, but lead singer Jim Pterik went on to make it big as lead singer of ‘Survivor.’ Their hits included the 80′s classic from ‘Rocky III,’ ‘Eye of the Tiger.’
