It’s Friday the 13th – Also ‘Open An Umbrella Indoors Day’ – Are You Superstitious?

Today is 'National Open an Umbrella Indoors Day'. As silly as this is, it happens to fall on Friday the 13th!

Are you a superstitious person? Are you afraid of black cats crossing your path? What about walking under ladders, does that make you nervous? Do you feel like you're cursed with seven years bad luck if you break a mirror?  What about killing a ladybug, do you fear the days that follow?

Because my daughter was freaked the other day about a ladybug and said loudly, "Dada, it's a bug, get it", I did the unpopular thing and "took care of it." Nothing bad has happened so far so I'm going to tempt fate and open an umbrella indoors on Friday the 13th!
