Win a Car at the KidsRSU2 First Ever Golf Tournament [AUDIO]
Here's a great way to save taxpayers some money and have a great time doing it. The Kennebec Intra-District Schools (KIDS) regional school unit (RSU 2) is holding a benefit golf tournament Saturday, June 28, 10 am to 2 pm at the Meadows Golf Club in Litchfield. The district is made up of schools in the towns of Dresden, Farmingdale, Hallowell, Monmouth and Richmond.
The cost for the tournament is just $60 per person or $240 per foursome and includes green fees, cart rental, lunch, and prizes including the chance to win a Chevy Cruze from O’Connor Wheels of Augusta through a hole-in-one opportunity on the course. In addition to the Chevy Cruze and other outstanding prizes, players may buy into additional challenges (longest drive, longest drive with a putter, closest to the pin) to win other prizes from other community partners.
KidsRSU2 Superintendent, Virgil Hammonds joined us on the Moose Morning Show to talk about the event!
