Navy Divers Save Rockport Man From Sinking Car

According to WGME, a Rockport man is alive thanks to two Navy Divers.

The divers had were visiting Maine, from Connecticut, to pick up a motorcycle.  On Rt 17, during their trip home, they ended up behind Jonathan Marr.

When Marr veered off the road and into a lake, the divers pulled over and jumped into the water to save the stranger.

As of Tuesday afternoon, Maine Medical Center would not give an update on Marr's condition.  Rockport police say they are still investigating.
