I feel bad for the Dominoes Pizza delivery guy in Portland. He was making a stop on Congress Street last night to drop off a pie someone had ordered and, when he turned around, his car was being driven away by a thief. He called the police immediately to report it.

Portland officer Terry Fitzgerald heard the call so he was on the lookout for the silver Volkswagen Jetta. About an hour later he spotted it leaving Cumberland Farms on Washington Avenue.

Mind you, it could have been any VW Jetta but this one was distinct, thanks mostly to the big Dominoes sign on the roof. BUSTED!

32-year-old Haben Taffere of Portland (who has a criminal record) and Rachel Ryan, 22 of South Portland, were arrested.

Taffere is being held in the Cumberland County Jail.
