The ‘Super Run!’ is Coming to Augusta Saturday, Oct. 4

How fun is this? Augusta is one of the first locations in the country to take part in a 'Super Run!' It's part of a national series of events that partners with non-profit organizations to put on superhero themed events to help raise funds and awareness for their cause. Locally, it's to support the Augusta Boys and Girls Club.

The Augusta 'Super Run!' is Saturday, Oct. 4, at Capital Park from 8:30am to 11:30am. There will be a fun 1K around the park and also a 5K on the Kennebec River Rail Trail. Every participant gets a superhero cape to wear and keep. Plus, other giveaways.

Participants are encouraged to come in their own superhero costumes and have fun and help out a great cause!
