You know we have a soft spot in our hearts for moose. Add the word baby to the story and we're hooked. What? Also, it's a baby moose who gets stuck. C'mon! Okay, so it's a baby moose, who after attempting to jump a fence, got his front legs wedged in between two fence posts. Now you have to watch, don't you?

Well, Mac's on his way to the Doc's for who knows what, Renee's groovin' to the tunage and I'm getting all geeky with the equipment. That, my friend, is just another day in our lives! Oh, I realize I called this feature by it's wrong name in the actual video. That's because I'm an idiot!

From time to time we take you "inside" the main studio here at 92 Moose and let you in on some of our secrets, like this one dealing with the "rimshot," which is better known as the drum that goes "ba-da-bum" after a funny joke!

Ya know, at this point in my long broadcasting career, there's really nothing off limits. Not even something as personal as a skin tag. Everyone gets them. They're apparently caused by friction. So, I was rubbing my neck because my skin tag, which Mac named George, was irritated. Peoples' cell phones are always accessible, even flying down the hill on a snowboard. That way, when your buddy comes up on a moose, you can video the ensuing chase. Trouble is, it's illegal! Oops!

I'm no Seuss...or I'd be Seuss on The Moose, cuttin' it loose like a runaway caboose! Anyway, my intent is to entertain right here in Maine until I need to use a cane. Here's my little poem. Thank you. No, not thank YOU....that's the name of the poem: Thank You.

Weird. Just weird. As I walked back toward the studio with my second or third cup of coffee at around 6:45, the light was coming through the dark clouds and the coloration of the world looked strange, though I really didn't think anything of it....

Some guy by the name of Mike Sileno, I'm assuming he's an out of stater, became just a little excited when he spotted a Moose.

Running into a full-grown moose in real life would be terrifying at worst, disconcerting at best. Running into a tiny baby moose, on the other hand, would be adorable. Who knew? Now you know. Enjoy these pictures of little moose calves.

I just finally upgraded my phone to a fancy pants smart phone. It does a lot of things and I learn more about it every day. But one of the coolest things it does, there is an app to listen to 92 Moose right on your smart phone, Android or iPhone.

"You've got to check out Moose Alley when you're in Rangeley!" my daughter, Michelle, told me. "It's Unbelievable," she added.  So, that was part of the plan when my buddy Mike Gagne and I hit the road on Wednesday.
