With all of the snow we've had over the winter and very little melting, you might be wondering about river flooding this spring. Well, so were the River Flow Advisory Panel and the Maine Emergency Management Agency. Both groups met today to assess possible spring flooding and they now have their assessment.
On Wednesday, we got a call from a woman telling us about this giant snow wall in front of a house on Sixth Street in Augusta. She said dogs frequently stand on it as though they were the house's guards and there was a chair perched on top so the owner could sit and look around the neighborhood. I had to check it out.
