This is Now Known as the Internet!

Here in 2014, it’s weird to think there was a time before the internet. As part of the ‘Throwback Thursday’ theme, here is a video from 1981 of a news report talking about the idea and beginnings of newspapers and magazines going on-line.

It is funny to think that we used to hook up our home computers to the TV. It’s even stranger to see the TVs from that time as well. They were small, boxy and back then still many had black and white sets, color television was still kind of a luxury. You’ll also see a dial phone and big hair!

Away, enjoy this report as part of ‘Throwback Thursday’.
